Head of Finance (m/f/d)

We are looking for an ambitious finance leader with relevant hands-on expertise in the areas of financial modeling & reporting, controlling, and accounting. Reporting directly to the founders, you will provide strategic direction and operational excellence to support the leadership team. You will be responsible to bring our finance set-up to the next level by implementing scalable tools, processes, and policies.

What you’ll do:

‐ You will own FP&A including financial model, forecasting, budgeting, projections and cash vs burn tracking, etc.

‐ You are responsible for the investor reporting.

‐ Manage our relationships with external stakeholders who support us - accountants, auditors, taxation, and payroll.

‐ Partner with senior leadership to develop a reporting system across departments to accurately track KPIs and budgets.

‐ Manage customer subscriptions, annual accounts including audits, and payroll of our highly international staff.

‐ Fulfill all legal obligations and regulatory requirements related to the company

Your Profile

‐ You bring 5+ years of finance experience, ideally in a VC-backed start-up, and experience with fundraising & investor relations.

‐ You have a deep understanding of the core financial disciplines (FP&A, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting).

‐ You have previously played a key role in building and maintaining the financial modeling & reporting for Investors and fundraising.

‐ You embrace an entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on generating impact fast, showing cognitive flexibility to tackle strategic as well as operational tasks.

‐ You understand and have worked with the German accounting and tax system.

‐ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

‐ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German are required.

‐ You are located in Germany
