Your Mission

As a Senior User / Market Researcher you are responsible for driving customer-centric decision-making at Jimdo. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research to provide a deep understanding of the behaviors and needs of microbusinesses and self-employed. You are keen to evangelize market and customer research and user-centered thinking throughout the company.

Responsibilities

ā€ Plan and lead qualitative and quantitative research projects aimed to provide actionable insights to improve our customer journey and drive the right company strategy

ā€ Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in Product, Data, Marketing and Corporate Strategy departments

ā€ Provide recommendations based on data-driven researches

ā€ Develop and enhance processes and formats to bring everyone at Jimdo close to their customers

ā€ Guide product teams, designers and other stakeholders to do their own research

ā€ Align user research activities across multiple teams, looking for synergies build user-centred practices in product and marketing teams

Requirements

ā€ 3-5 years experience in User Research, Market Research or a related field

ā€ Background in user-centered product development, User Experience, Design Thinking or Marketing

ā€ Hands-on experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research projects end-to-end in-house and together with external agencies (e.g. user testing, ethnographic research, survey design, competitor analysis etc.)

ā€ You are strong at communicating user needs to stakeholders and acting as a persuasive advocate for those needs

ā€ German native speaker and English fluent
