IOTA Foundation is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel (m/w/d) to join their Legal & Regulatory Affairs team, supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance, engaging with regulators, and providing legal guidance to stakeholders. Collaborate with technical, communications, and marketing teams while working remotely on cutting-edge Web3 technology.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance of IOTA's operations and technology solutions
• Collaborate on policies, procedures, and educational materials
• Negotiate and draft various agreements, ensuring legal protections
• Manage legal aspects of disputes or conflicts
• Contribute to policy development, internal guidelines, and industry best practices
• Understand IOTA's technology intricacies and legal implications
• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments globally
• Collaborate with technology adoption, communications, and marketing teams

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as legal counsel, preferably within the Web3 space
• Common Law Background
• Master's Degree in Law and Bar exam
• Strong knowledge of global legal and regulatory landscapes related to blockchain and DLT
• Proactive approach with remote work experience
• Excellent communication skills and team player mindset
• High level of fluency in spoken and written English
