28 Nov. 2023As a (Junior) Finance Auditor at Finoa, you will be responsible for auditing and monitoring our financial processes and reports You will be a valued advisor to our international team on numerous topics and use your expertise to advance our internal audit division. Please note: While this position can be performed remotely, we will only be screening applicants who are resident in either Portugal or Germany.
In This Role, You Will:
- Conducting comprehensive financial audits and analyses to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data
- Reviewing financial documents, accounting, and reporting for compliance with laws and regulations
- Identifying financial risks and irregularities and developing recommendations for risk mitigation
- Creating detailed audit reports and presenting findings to management and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with internal teams to promote best practices in the financial department and drive process improvements
- Actively participating in training programs and continuing education to keep your knowledge up to date
Additional Exposure and Opportunities
In addition to your finance-focused responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to:
- Gain exposure to IT auditing, assisting in the evaluation of information systems and data security measures.
- Learn about AML compliance, helping to identify and prevent financial crimes.
- Get involved in IKS assessments, ensuring the effectiveness of internal control systems.
What You Need To Be Successful:
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional experience in finance or accounting is required
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Deep understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the financial sector
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Independence, integrity, and ethical behavior
- Teamwork and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development
- Fluency in English and German
