WebGL Developer (m/w/d)

WebGL Developer (m/w/d) role at ZAUBAR offers you the opportunity to shape the future of immersive experiences by developing web-based 3D & AR tours, known as time travel metaverses. You'll implement initiatives, plan complexity, and create visual tools while working with technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, Three.js, SVG, WebGL, Canvas/CSS animation, and more. Your responsibilities

• Implement web-based 3D & AR tour initiatives (time travel metaverses)
• Plan complexity and timeframes using Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Design, computer graphics, and visual tools for problem-solving
• Create components, views, and controls for 3D web elements
• Implement Content Management Systems and backend
• Maintain testing & QA environments
• Convert UI and UX designs from tools like Figma to responsive multi-platform websites
• Strive for the best user experience and complete projects
• Participate in activities to grow a healthy and diverse culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or relevant field (preferred, not required)
• Defining coding standards, best practices, and documentation experience
• 5+ years proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
• 5+ years knowledge in backend development, REST API design, and browser-based 3D rendering
• 3+ years experience with Three.js, SVG, WebGL, Canvas/CSS animation, and 3D graphics
• 2+ years familiarity with continuous integration and automated deployment systems
• Strong interpersonal skills for inspiring team members and sharing knowledge
• Experience with game/VFX/VR industry, Unity/Unreal game engines, and GitHub Workflows (preferred)
• Computer Graphics knowledge (Shaders/GLSL, Raytracing, etc.) using other programming languages (preferred)
• 3D modelling experience for small fix ups and conversions (preferred)
