To develop and increase Ultrafabrics’ Recreation Vehicle (RV) and Commercial Vehicle (CV) business within the UK and Europe.
2. Principal Responsibilities/Duties
- Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy for the UK and European RV and CV markets.
- Assist in creating and delivering annual budget. Manage monthly budgets and take corrective action when necessary.
- Account Manage the current OEM customer base with the goal of increasing turnover through product introduction into new vehicle models and/or applications.
- Manage the OEM supplier network to deliver exceptional service to the OEM.
- Identify new potential OEM customers in the UK and Europe, present Ultrafabrics and develop relationships with the goal of converting them into live accounts.
- Build relationships and effectively communicate with key stakeholder departments within current and potential OEMs and their supplier network.
- Project manage any custom material developments for customers with Ultrafabrics Product Development Team.
- Understand the customers’ manufacturing, scheduling and order processes to assist the Ultrafabrics Customer Service Team in providing on time delivery to the customers’ satisfaction.
- Keep up to date with industry design trends, competitors and technical legislation. Give feedback to relevant Ultrafabrics departments.
- Provide support, product and company information to OEM customers and their supplier network.
- Assist the OEM, their supplier network and relevant Ultrafabrics teams to develop the material into applications e.g. seating, doors, IP, consoles if needed.
- Support the appropriate Ultrafabrics internal team(s) for quality issue resolution and assist with field engineering.
- Maintain the company’s CRM system with all the necessary information.
- Must be willing to undertake European and International travel when required.
3. Critical Challenges
- Focus on growing the business across the different sectors of RV and CV.
- High value sells of Ultrafabrics products into a competitive market.
- Consistently increase Ultrafabrics’ sales and market share.
- Building lasting relationships with OEM’s and their supplier network.
- Understanding the Company’s structure, work processes and culture.
- Maintain open lines of communication internally between Ultrafabrics Europe, USA and Japan.
4. Unique Knowledge & Skills
- Sales experience in the Recreation Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle sectors.
- Ability to speak a European language fluently, ideally German.
- Be self-driven and results orientated.
- Some of knowledge in sales or manufacturing of any of the following materials – PU, PVC, Leather, or Textiles.
- Experience in commercial activity including key account management, sales, and creating a sales structure.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and be a natural problem solver.
- Able to effectively communicate across multiple levels of a business including executives.
- Excellent organizational skills showing attention to detail, accuracy and focus.
- Highly competent in MS Office suite.
- High level of emotional intelligence and be a team player
5. External Contacts
- OEMs at all levels of management
- OEM supplier network; Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, Quality and Program Management departments.
- Secondary process suppliers.
6. Internal Contacts
- Ultrafabrics Europe Team – Senior Management, Sales Team, Customer Services and Operations.
- Ultrafabrics USA Team – Senior Management, VP’s, Directors, and other departmental employees where necessary.
7. Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Types of decisions referred to the next level:
- a) Commercial agreements outside of standard price lists, delivery and payment terms.
- b) Fabric customization.
- c) Marketing/promotion requirements and resource.
- d) Extraordinary expenditure
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From 50,000.00€ per year
Experience:
- Business development: 3 years (Preferred)
- Textile Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
Language:
- Deutsch (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driving Licence (Preferred)

- Germany (Required)
