Software Engineer (m/f/d) PHP

Xentral ERP Software GmbH is looking for a remote Software Engineer (m/f/d) PHP to contribute to the development of their SaaS product and act as a domain owner. You will develop their product, improve it continuously, create and revise applications, design APIs, research new technologies, and work closely with your colleagues using modern agile software development methods. Your responsibilities

• Develop the SaaS product, taking into consideration complexity, architecture, and software design, and improve it iteratively and continuously
• Create and revise applications in close cooperation with the product team, always taking into account the needs of the customer and the product
• Design and implement APIs for business-critical parts of our ERP software
• Research, document, and communicate your discoveries, evaluate new technologies and methods, and discuss them with your colleagues
• Work closely with your colleagues using modern agile software development methods
• Support the team in the adoption of CI/CD, clean code, and high code quality

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software development using PHP, MySQL, and Laravel and/or Symfony
• Professional experience in working with AWS and Docker
• Love for algorithms, design patterns, unit testing, SOLID, modular development, numbers, statistics, and more complex calculations
• Global view of architecture and business logic
• Open and team-oriented personality
• Passion for working in a cross-functional team
• Business-fluent command of written and spoken English
