Senior Vue/Nuxt Developer (m/w/d)

ZAUBAR, a Berlin-based start-up, is seeking an experienced Senior Vue/Nuxt Developer for remote work to lead the development of innovative AR city tour applications. You will create stunning front-end interfaces, work with mapping engines, integrate data from CMS via APIs, and collaborate with designers. Relevant skills include 4+ years of JS experience, Vue/Nuxt.js framework, HTML5, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, and optimum rendering performance.

Your responsibilities

• Create exceptionally well-functioning front-end interfaces for AR city tour applications
• Contribute to the development of web-based application user interfaces
• Compile and refine specifications and technical requirements based on project needs
• Test web applications in various operating systems and browsers
• Set up user event collection to understand deployed service usage
• Configure web applications for staging and production deployment
• Collaborate with designers to realize visual design intent
• Explore emerging technologies and industry trends
• Maintain internal documentation
• Work with mapping engines and integrate data from CMS via APIs

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with Javascript
• Experience in developing JavaScript-based web applications with Vue/Nuxt.js framework
• Knowledge of isomorphic web applications
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and its semantics
• Experience with integrating Authentication protocols with apps
• Extensive knowledge of CSS3 and its different layout models
• Passion for design, UX, and usability
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar (nice-to-have)
• Experience with Three.js, SVG, Canvas, TypeScript, Node.js, Google Maps WebGL API, Web3 APIs (nice-to-have)
