Vesputi GmbH, a thriving mobility tech company in Germany, invites you to shape the future of urban mobility as a Senior Transit Ticketing Solutions Engineer (m/f/d). In this role, you'll design and implement a standardized ticketing interface for public transit, revolutionizing the way people move across Europe. Using Ruby-on-Rails, microservices, kubernetes, and docker, you'll enhance their Mobilitybox backend while collaborating with a dynamic, international team.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and implementing the first open, standardized ticketing interface for Europe.
• Building backend services for a seamless, market-leading ticketing integration.
• Standardizing various ticketing standards and tariff systems.
• Developing new features to continuously improve services for partners.

Qualifications

• Prior experience developing open interfaces, ideally in public transport or mobility.
• Strong understanding of public transit ticketing systems and technologies like VDV-KA, Motics, UIC-Barcodes, and ION.
• User-centric mindset, eager to understand how tools are utilized by clients.
• Proactive attitude, contributing knowledge, skills, and ideas to the company's vision.
• Passion for innovation and sustainable mobility landscape.
• Advanced German and English language skills.
