Senior Software Engineer (GO) (m/f/d)

Xentral ERP Software GmbH is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (GO) (m/f/d) to join their team remotely. You will contribute to the development of their SaaS product, focusing on software development, establishing high-quality code, and influencing architecture decisions as a domain owner for analytics services. Your code will help customers make data-driven decisions and receive algorithmic recommendations.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Analytics Service backend including purpose-built database technology and APIs
• Build components required for ETL, query logic, and enriching of customer data
• Facilitate insights, recommendations, and benchmarks across served industries
• Oversee relevant parts of the user-facing analytics infrastructure
• Produce scalable and maintainable solutions
• Work closely with PM, UX/UI, and other functions
• Use modern agile software development methods

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in backend engineering
• Strong desire to specialize in big data, data engineering, and analytics
• Experience using Golang for cloud-based applications
• Proficiency with SQL
• Experience with different data storage systems
• Love for algorithms, design patterns, unit testing, SOLID and modular development
• Global view of architecture and business logic
• Open and team-oriented personality
• Passionate about working in a cross-functional team
• Fluent English skills
