PowerUs is on a mission to build the ultimate career platform for skilled blue-collar workers, with a focus on renewable energy sectors like solar and wind energy. As a (Senior) Product Designer (m/w/d), you'll join the Worker Identity Squad, taking end-to-end ownership of designing user experiences, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your exceptional design skills will help workers establish their identity on the platform, with a focus on sign-up and profile creation.

Your responsibilities

• Join the Worker Identity Squad, taking end-to-end ownership of designing user experiences.
• Get to know skilled blue-collar workers, understand their needs and aspirations through interviews and research methods.
• Design thoughtfully crafted experiences to help users achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders to create a simple, holistic solution.
• Drive alignment with your squad and stakeholders using storytelling and prototyping skills.
• Be the go-to person for product management and engineering in your squad for design-related questions.
• Elevate practices and processes in the Design Chapter to improve user-centricity and design quality.

Qualifications

• A well-crafted portfolio showcasing relevant projects and skills.
• 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing software in a cross-functional setup.
• Practice evidence-based design, rationalizing decisions clearly and credibly.
• Experience working with design systems to produce scalable designs.
• Proficiency in prototyping at various fidelities and communicating effectively.
• Familiarity with common tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Notion, etc.
• Enjoy mentoring others, giving and receiving direct feedback.
• Fluency in English and German at a B1 level or above.
