Join beyonnex as a (Senior) Backend Developer - Embedded IoT (m/f/d) and contribute to making buildings more climate-friendly, comfortable, and affordable using connected real estate and high-quality applications. Your mission includes developing and extending backend infrastructure, building LoRaWAN infrastructures, driving new product development, and working with Java, Python, AWS, and IoT Frameworks. Collaborate with a team of experts to build the future of smart energy.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and extend backend infrastructure and software running on embedded linux
- Build and maintain LoRaWAN infrastructures in customer buildings
- Drive development of new products, evaluate new possibilities, and make things happen
- Collaborate with product experts and product owners to build the future of smart energy
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Software Developer
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science or related fields or comparable education and experience
- Proficiency in Linux System Administration tooling, preferably for Embedded Linux deployments
- Expertise in Java (or other JVM based languages) and Python
- Experience developing distributed systems, preferably following a cloud-native paradigm
- Background in SRE is optional but nice to have
- Experience with AWS IoT Core, LoRa, and/or mBUS is a plus
- Understanding of GitLab pipelines
- German language skills are a plus
- Passion projects are welcome
