Your responsibilities
- Impactful & reliable delivery of technology for the Note platform team
- Managing team career growth, engagement, and setting aligned goals
- Advising the team on technical complexities and bridging gaps between technical aspects and business needs
- Collaborating with Product Managers to align engineering efforts with overall company goals
- Planning, organizing, and monitoring project progress
- Conducting retrospectives, prioritizing technical backlog items, and improving delivery, productivity, and satisfaction metrics
- Ensuring transparent stakeholder engagement
- Inspiring, motivating, and managing teams to achieve ambitious goals
- Communicating technical information clearly and concisely to team members, stakeholders, and customers
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager of a platform engineering team
- Deep understanding of web technologies, technical architecture, and service architecture for real-time collaboration
- Proficiency with CI/CD, multi-data setups, automated testing, branching strategies, and incident management
- Experience with Elixir, Ruby, JavaScript, CI/CD tools, and automated testing frameworks
- Comfortable collaborating with product trio dynamics
- Proven track record in project management
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, sprint organization, retrospectives, and prioritizing technical backlog items
- Results-driven mindset with a deep understanding of team delivery, productivity, and satisfaction metrics
- Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives
- Strong leadership skills, with experience inspiring, motivating, and managing teams
