Tide, a leading business financial platform, is hiring a Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) to work on their core infrastructure platform. You will be working with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and other cutting-edge technologies to design and build a platform that meets the needs of engineering teams and regulatory obligations. This role requires a 'platform' mentality, strong collaboration skills, and a willingness to learn.

Your responsibilities

• Working with stakeholders to understand their requirements
• Writing Terraform and Helm charts to define infrastructure
• Collaborating with other Senior Cloud Engineers to define best practices
• Supporting engineers to effectively use the platform
• Identifying, researching, and implementing new technologies
• Promoting understanding of the platform throughout Tide’s engineering department
• Mentoring and teaching peers

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of experience, most of it in a DevOps Engineering type role
• Experience working in Cloud hosted environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and ideally a scripting language like Python
• Basic understanding of GitOps
• Good understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem
• Enjoy working in a highly regulated and security-conscious industry

• Willingness to learn new technologies
