Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the core infrastructure that powers our AI-driven teaching tools, ensuring scalability and robust performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for our internal bot-building platform, enhancing the capabilities of Syntea.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the full stack, from database operations to user interfaces – with a focus on backend tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and maintain high standards for our development processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, applying your problem-solving skills to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in AI, education technology, and software development, and evaluate their potential application within our ecosystem.

Your Profile

• At least 2 years proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Python (required), React (a plus), JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of both front-end and especially back-end development.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge of database technologies, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), with the ability to design and interact with complex data models.
• A passion for learning and applying new technologies to solve complex problems in education.
• Fluent in English, with German language skills being a plus.
