3D Web Developer (m/w/d)

ZAUBAR is looking for a passionate 3D Web Developer (m/w/d) to help determine how location-based storytelling experiences are experienced at home in the browser. As a key player on the team, you will implement web-based 3D & AR tour initiatives, plan complexity and timeframes, and create visual tools for solving problems. With a focus on user experience, you will implement coding standards, best practices, and documentations, using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, Three.js, SVG, WebGL, Canvas/CSS animation, and more.

Your responsibilities

• Implement web-based 3D & AR tour initiatives, such as time travel metaverses
• Plan complexity and timeframes using SCRUM and Agile methodologies
• Design, computer graphics, and make visual tools for solving problems
• Create components and views that connect and control 3D web elements
• Implement Content Management Systems and backend
• Create and maintain testing & QA environments
• Convert UI and UX from design tools (e.g. Figma) to responsive multi-platform websites
• Strive for the best user experience and finish projects until they’re done
• Participate in activities to grow a healthy and diverse culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design or other relevant field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
• 5+ years knowledge in backend development, REST API design and browser-based 3D rendering
• 3+ years experience with Three.js, SVG, WebGL, Canvas/CSS animation and 3D graphics and Info-graphics
• 2+ years familiarity with continuous integration and automated deployment systems
• Experience with game/VFX/VR industry, Unity/Unreal game engines, and GitHub Workflows
• Experience with Computer Graphics in general (Shaders/GLSL, Raytracing, etc.) using other programming languages
• 3D modelling experience to do small fix ups and conversions
• Great interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire others, share knowledge, and help define future product direction
